Zabbix 1.8.3 Release Candidate 1 Released
According to our new release procedure Zabbix 1.8.3rc1 is the first release candidate for 1.8.3 version. If we find no serious issues the release candidate will be released as stable 1.8.3.
Zabbix 1.8.3rc1 introduces a number of significant improvements on the front-end side along with improved performance of Zabbix Server and Proxy. Here you can find a nice overview of the new features with screenshots and detailed description: www.zabbix.com/documentation
Feel free to try it in your test environment and your report of any problems is highly appreciated. Note that it's not for production use. Please wait for official release of Zabbix 1.8.3 for use in production.
