Migrate to the Next Stable Version 1.8.5
We are proud to announce a release of the next stable version of Zabbix software – 1.8.5.
The most notable features of the new version are network map improvements, agent improvements, suport for new items, new trigger functions. Migrate to Zabbix 1.8.5 to take advantage of the improvements.

Become a Zabbix Certified Trainer
Number of Zabbix installations and users all over the world is growing fast and the demand for Zabbix training is growing along. And we feel that we are unable to serve all the requests from Zabbix software users for professional training.
Therefore we have decided to ask for your assistance on this matter. If you are a natural trainer, have good practical and theoretical knowledge of Zabbix software and ready to travel around your region, apply to become a Zabbix Certified Trainer. Both companies and private individuals may apply.
Becoming a Zabbix Certified Trainer requires completion of special course and passing Zabbix Certified Trainer exam, but later benefits such as meeting Zabbix fans all over your region, being a part of Zabbix team and realizing that you bring knowledge to Zabbix community should overperform initial severity :)

Manage Zabbix Training Schedule – Choose Location
Along with two new initiatives “Order on-site training” and “Become a host” presented to you in our March Newsletter we are happy to introduce an online Training Application Form.
You may use this form to submit your preferred location of the next Zabbix Training sessions. Our Training Team will schedule trainings respectfully. Note that the same form may be used to register for upcoming scheduled trainings or submitting your suggestions to our Training team.

But just make a reservation in advance as starting June 24 the city will host Hamburg Harley Days with over 50 000 bikers expected to arrive. And if you own a Harley, it is a must Zabbix training for you :) So hit the road to visit Hamburg, register now.

Sometimes you are waiting for a feature to be introduced in Zabbix for a long time, but it is still not there. And you wonder if there is anything that can be done about it. We here at Zabbix work hard to make our software faster and more feature-rich, but new ideas over-perform our ability to process them.
As some of our community members have turned to us with a proposal to sponsor development priority, we want to give it a try. For this month 'Most Wanted' we have selected ZBXNETXT-1 feature. The cost of making this feature Top Priority of our development team is EUR 1400.00.
So how does it work? If you are ready to sponsor this month 'Most Wanted' feature development, just drop us an e-mail with the amount you are ready to pay (ex., € 10.00; $ 50.00, ₤100.00 etc.), the most comfortable way to arrange the payment (wire transfer, PayPal etc.) and how do you see the feature (your ideas, proposals, drawings etc.). If during one month we receive sufficient sponsor support, we will notify sponsors about this fact and will ask them to make the payments proposed. After receiving required amount from sponsors, the development should start within 2 weeks.
How to make a feature you lack the 'Most Wanted' feature for the next month? Just visit ZBXNEXT section, submit your feature request or find it among already submitted and vote. That is so easy.
Watch a Map of Zabbix Installations Growing
Thanks to everybody who has responded to our call to create a Map of Zabbix Installations. We have received many responses and the map is growing fast.
