Zabbix 2.0.2rc2 Released!
Zabbix is glad to announce the release of Zabbix 2.0.2rc2 version. This is just a candidate version, not for production use. Thus, it is a good opportunity to check all the changes and do some bug hunting to prepare for the stable release and instant update of your systems.
New Certified Partner in Japan
SRA OSS Inc. is a total solution supplier for open source software (OSS). The Company offers consulting, software support and training services, its professionals are experienced technicians, especially in middle-ware field. Since the demand for the ultimate OSS monitoring tool has been increasing, SRA OSS Inc. started to provide unconsolidated Zabbix services.
SRA OSS signed a Certified Partnership agreement with Zabbix SIA, which guarantees a back-end technical support from Zabbix and gives a possibility for SRA OSS to have a world famous monitoring solution brand on the service list.
ZABBIX-JP at Open Source Conference in Tokyo
ZABBIX-JP members will participate in the Open Source Conference in Tokyo*, Japan, from 7th to 9th of September 2012.
The conference is dedicated to the Open Source products and related services, which is a great opportunity for attendees, who are interested to share their experience and expand network of acquaintance.
ZABBIX-JP will have their own booth where everyone is welcome to come and get a consultation about Zabbix and its services.
*Please note that conference will be in Japanese language.
Zabbix Goes to OSMC by Netways
The OSMC | Open Source Monitoring Conference, organized by Netways, will take place in Nuremberg, Germany, on 17th – 18th October, 2012.
The conference offers the opportunity to improve the knowledge of open source monitoring systems. It features practical workshops and presentations, as well as gives a space for networking and exchange of ideas with other users. Conference will be in both languages, English and German, to ensure all international participants get the most from this event.
Zabbix Senior Consultant, Rihards Olups, will be giving presentation called Zabbix 2.0: Even Better. It is dedicated to Zabbix 2.0 and mostly to generic functionality of the software, thus does not require previous Zabbix experience.
Updated agenda for Zabbix Conference 2012
Zabbix Conference 2012 official agenda was recently complemented with one more speaker from Denmark, Morten Bech Christensen, a Consultant at C-TEAM, who will be giving a presentation on “Monitoring of multiple customers using a single Zabbix server and 1 Zabbix proxy for each customer”.
Eight international speakers, representing different industries worldwide, are now going to give presentations about Zabbix Monitoring Solution at Zabbix Conference 2012.
