2.0.4rc1
Zabbix SIA is proud to announce the availability of Zabbix 2.0.4rc1 (release candidate). This release candidate covers some fixes to known issues of Zabbix 2.0.x and introduces a few new minor features.
Release notes for Zabbix 2.0.4rc1 are going to be published on our website very shortly and will be available here under the “Release Notes” section.
More detailed overview of the new features and functionalities can be found here (will be published shortly).
This release is not for production use. It is a Release Candidate!
Zabbix Welcomes New Resellers!
Last week Zabbix SIA was very pleased and honored to sign the Reseller partnership agreements with IXI Information Security Lab (Russia) and Tecnologías Racionales S.A. (Argentina).
Signed agreements with Zabbix SIA gives Tecnologias Racionales S.A. and IXI Information Security Lab the rights to distribute and promote the Zabbix product and services on assigned markets. Zabbix SIA believes that all parties will benefit from this partnership. It is expected that the knowledge and professional activities of the newly assigned resellers will boost the popularity of the Zabbix Monitoring Solution in those markets.

Zabbix Live Demo
We are glad to announce that starting from tomorrow, Zabbix launches its Live Demo sessions available for everybody to join.
Thanks to everyone who has already registered for the Demo session tomorrow, Thursday, November 29th, at 17:00-18:00 (GMT+2). We are currently overbooked for this date and the registration for this session is closed. However, if you are interested to sign-up for the next available Demo, simply fill in the application form and choose the date of the session you would like to join. Please note that the number of participants is limited to 15 people, so if you would like to ensure your participation, make sure to process your registration on time.
All participants will be able to see Zabbix software in action, hear experts' guidance and comments, as well as ask questions in the text chat.

Support of low-level discovery macros in trigger expressions
Currently low-level discovery macros can only be used in item key parameters. We are currently working on implementing ZBXNEXT-1286, which will additionally allow to use these macros in constants. That is, you will be able to create trigger prototypes like {Template_OS_Linux:vfs.fs.size[{#FSNAME},pused].last(0)}>{#FSTRIGGER} and compare item values to thresholds returned by low-level discovery. This will be useful when these thresholds are dynamic and depend of the discovered entity.
