Displaying user names and surnames together with aliases [ZBXNEXT-1569]

If a lot of people have access to your Zabbix frontend, it may become difficult to remember who's using which alias. To make this easier Zabbix 2.2 will display a user's name and surname together with his alias. This change will mostly affect acknowledgement information and the user configuration pages.

Zabbix Professional Training Is Going to Uruguay

In November, a Zabbix Professional Training session will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay! The training will be held in Spanish and will consist of both courses: Zabbix Certified Specialist and Zabbix for Large Environments and as usual will last for five days, from November 11 until November 15.

We would like to put to your attention that recently the Zabbix team has introduced a new topic for the free online webinars, which is called “Tune Your Zabbix for Better Performance”. During this webinar session you will get information and guidance on how you can improve your Zabbix performance through understanding hardware requirements, tuning your database and Zabbix configuration.
